PvPilot, the brain of self-consumption
Producing solar energy is no longer enough: you also need to know how to use it intelligently.
That is exactly the role of PvPilot. The solution analyses the energy available in real time and controls different uses to maximise self-consumption.
Designed by installers, for installers, PvPilot integrates easily into existing installations, regardless of the inverter already in place. Its strength lies in centralising the control of the installation so that different equipment can work together intelligently: water heater, swimming pool, EV charger and even battery.
The objective is simple: make the most of every kilowatt-hour produced on site, reduce losses and turn the solar installation into a truly smart system.
PvPilot + LEKTRI.CO: charging fully integrated into the installation
In a home equipped with solar panels, EV charging has become a major use case. But to be truly relevant, the charger must not operate as an isolated device. It needs to be part of a global energy strategy. That is the whole point of the integration between PvPilot and LEKTRI.CO.
The LEKTRI.CO charger becomes part of a surplus-based charging logic, controlled according to the energy actually available on site. Vehicle charging no longer happens independently from the rest of the installation: it adapts to solar production and to the other uses already present in the home. If the water heater needs to be powered, if the pool pump is running, or if other equipment requires power, PvPilot adjusts and distributes the available energy in real time to maintain the most relevant balance.
Another key advantage: this integration does not require adding a dedicated device or an extra Shelly for the charger. For the installer, this means less hardware, lower costs, less configuration and a simpler architecture to deploy. For the end customer, it means a smoother installation and a single application.
“Our logic is simple: optimise self-consumption before thinking about storage. PvPilot first optimises what is already in place by becoming the central brain of the installation, so that each device can work intelligently with the others. Then, storage can be added, but with less capacity, therefore at a lower cost for the customer and with improved profitability. Today, PvPilot also integrates batteries and can control them as well.” Florian Lizon, CEO of PvPilot.

6 kWp INSTALLATION: Marstek battery – LEKTRI.CO EV charger – 200 L water heater
The combination of PvPilot and LEKTRI.CO allows installers to offer a complete, clear and differentiating solution. They are no longer selling only an EV charger or basic solar control: they are implementing a real energy strategy, consistent across the entire installation. The LEKTRI.CO charger benefits from all the smart control provided by PvPilot, while PvPilot strengthens its promise by integrating EV charging into a global self-consumption approach.
It is also a real commercial advantage. The installer can offer a solution that is simpler to install, easier to explain, and above all capable of evolving over time with the customer’s future uses: water heater, swimming pool, battery or other equipment to be controlled later on.
The water heater, the swimming pool, the EV charger and tomorrow’s battery no longer compete with each other: they are orchestrated together to make the most of the energy produced on site.
Self-consumption takes on a new dimension. Simpler to integrate, smarter in the way it operates and more profitable in its effects, it becomes a complete energy strategy, designed for the field and built to last.
